In the spring of this year, we came out opposed to a nearly 20% utility rate increase proposed by and eventually approved by the City of Camas Council.
Mr. Brachmann discussed proposed water, sewer, stormwater and sanitary rate increases for 2010-2013 at the Camas Council meeting in September. The City only approved the rates for 2009 and will be reviewing the addiional rate increases at the October 5th Council meeting. There are some suggested discounts to be considered for seniors and low income rate payers.
