Love em or hate em....Tuesday night, you can have a chance to meet with them one on one.

The order of candidates will follow that listed in the Sample Ballot, which is:
15th State Legislative District Representative
Camas City Council
Washougal Mayor & City Council
School District Commissioners for Camas, Washougal, and Mt. Pleasant
East County Fire & Rescue District Commissioners
Port of Camas-Washougal Commissioners
Cemetery Board District #1
Each candidate, opposed or unopposed, has a 5 minute speaking limit, and should have prepared content that reflect such issues as their reasons for running, qualifications, values, positions, challenges and vision for the future of the community. This is not a debate, nor a question and answer format, but a way to reach voters in a positive manner. Please respect your opponent.
League member Carol Keljo will open the fair, and introduce each speaker. This event will be recorded by CVTV Channels 21 & 23 for multiple airings prior to the election.
At the conclusion of the public speaking, candidates are encouraged to engage the voters one-on-one. Each candidate can host a table (which will be provided) with campaign materials; candidates will be able to answer questions, address concerns, and take public input during this portion of the event in a more informal setting.
